Darwen’s Food and Drink Fest, Two Years Strong

The event boasted a diverse array of food vendors, serving up global cuisines to suit all palates, as well as a host of artisan craft stalls. Food included Neapolitan-style stone baked pizza, vegan Indian street food, Greek street food, churros and more besides.

This year marked the second occurrence of Darwen Food and Drink Festival, and visitors were not disappointed.  

Organised by the locally renowned Darwen Bars and Leisure, the festival brought our little town to life in the Market Square on Easter Sunday and bank holiday Monday.

Attendants enjoyed live music from local solo artists and bands playing late into the evening, many in association with Darwen School of Music.  

With children’s trampolining and entertainment, it was the perfect day out for the whole family.

Cider Bar Sponsorship  

We were delighted to be the official sponsors of the Cider Bar, and to attend the event ourselves, indulging in the amazing beverages, entertainment and food stalls.

With its notably large turnout, and the subsequent positive media coverage from the Lancashire Telegraph, it’s safe to say that the festival was a great success.

Exciting plans for next year are already underway.

All of the delicious cider products were supplied by Kopparberg UK.

Supporting Our Town
